The Freeburg Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring two, onetime $500.00 scholarships to be awarded to a 2021 FCHS graduate.
Only those applications which include all of the information requested will be considered. The name of the successful applicant will be announced at Honors Night at FCHS.
Funding will be sent directly to the recipient once enrollment is validated by student. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
The following must be included with this application form:
1.A typed 200-300 word essay on the topic:
“The Significance of Small Business in Today’s Economy”
2.Current transcripts from FCHS
3.Letters from two character references, one of which must come from an
instructor who influenced the applicant’s plans for the future. Letters
written by relatives are not acceptable.
Student contact information —email, cell number, is requested in the event that an interview is to be scheduled.
Deadline: This application form along with all requested information must be received at the FCHS guidance office by April 16th, 2021.
The Freeburg Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee may request an interview with candidates prior to its final selection.
Each applicant will be considered without preference to race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.
